Chase ends in rollover crash on 134 Freeway in Burbank

BURBANK, Calif. () — A chase ended when a car that was being pursued by authorities late Friday flipped over onto its roof on the 134 Freeway in Burbank, authorities said.

The crash occurred shortly before midnight when the suspect in an Audi struck another vehicle and rolled over in lanes near the Buena Vista Street exit, a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol said.

The suspect was taken into custody at the scene, according to the Highway Patrol. No injuries were reported.

News video from the scene showed the CHP recovering a handgun from inside the overturned vehicle.

The circumstances that prompted the chase were unclear.
