Tourism data shows that New Jersey welcomed 123.7 million visitors last year, with total spending exceeding $50.6 billion for the first time. Visitor spending growth was led by food and beverage at $14.2 billion, with accommodation reaching $13.45 billion and recreation $6 billion.
Atlantic and Cape May counties remained top attractions, while 2025 forecasts suggest continued momentum—126.4 million visitors and $52.3 billion in spending. Future global events, including the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and America’s 250th anniversary, will further elevate New Jersey’s tourism profile.
