FRP Sets Out to Build Rider Communities Across the US With the Launch of Rider Series in Houston

FRP, a powersports brand committed to making outdoor riding more accessible, has announced the launch of Rider Series, a new community initiative marking the company’s first organised effort to engage riders across the United States. The series begins on 2 May in Stafford, Texas, with plans in place to bring similar events to key markets throughout the country.

The opening event, FRP Rider Series Houston Vol. 1 Keep Going Further, will draw local riders together for an afternoon of community riding, mini bike games, and custom bike showcases. FRP will introduce the GMB100 in new blue and yellow colourways at the event. Selected activities will offer participants product-based rewards, including branded apparel, accessories, and parts.

“We built FRP for people who want to ride consistently,” said Wei Huang, founder and CEO of FRP. “The goal has always been to make riding feel approachable at the beginning and worth coming back to after the first ride. The industry sells courage. We believe courage happens after riders trust the bike.”

The Rider Series format has been shaped around the needs of riders who engage with powersports as part of everyday life — through local meetups, regular outings, and shared experiences rather than through competition. The series reflects a broader change in how people participate in powersports, with social and practical riding growing in prominence alongside more traditional performance-led events.

“We do not see community as a marketing campaign,” Huang said. “We see it as listening. The people who ride our bikes help shape what we build next, and these events give us a way to stay close to that.”

FRP intends to run Rider Series as a consistent feature of its US presence, using the events to stay close to local riding communities as the brand continues to grow. In June, the company will also launch two new models — the FX140 and FX125 — both carrying engineering updates built around trail performance and the durability required for longer rides.

The Houston event will run from 4pm to 8pm on 2 May at 12999 Murphy Rd., Unit 2K1, Stafford, Texas, and is open to invited riders, local partners, and members of the local riding community.
