Police chase in Los Angeles ends bizarrely as driver dances before surrendering

WESTLAKE DISTRICT, LOS ANGELES () — A wild police chase ended bizarrely on Wednesday night when the driver got out and danced before surrendering.

The pursuit began around 8:30 p.m.

Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were responding to reports of a suspected DUI driver.

The driver, who has not been identified, remained mostly on surface streets throughout the pursuit, going through Koreatown and Hollywood.

The chase ultimately ended in the parking lot of a shopping center in the Westlake District.

AIR7 video captured the driver getting out of the car and dancing before they were taken into custody.

No further information from police has been released.
