Man and baby killed, woman seriously injured in Playa del Rey hit-and-run crash

PLAYA DEL REY, Calif. () — A man and a baby were killed and a woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning at a Playa del Rey intersection, authorities said.

It happened just after 4:30 a.m. at Vista Del Mar and Culver Boulevard. Two vehicles were involved in the crash, and one of the drivers fled the scene, according to authorities.

A 30-year-old woman and a 1-year-old baby were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The baby later died.

A 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities did not release additional details about the suspect vehicle or the circumstances leading up to the crash.
