HITEC has today unveiled the 2026 HITEC 100, recognising 100 technology leaders from diverse backgrounds whose leadership and capacity for innovation are playing a defining role in shaping the future of the global technology ecosystem. The list celebrates those whose influence extends well beyond their own organisations, with a particular focus on advancing opportunity by embracing underleveraged talent and forward-thinking approaches.
HITEC has also taken the opportunity to announce a strategic evolution of its awards programme, a move that underlines its enduring commitment to growth, excellence, and measurable real-world impact. The HITEC 100 award will remain anchored in the organisation’s Architects of Growth ethos, continuing to celebrate exceptional leaders whose reach and influence go beyond the walls of their own organisations. Honourees are individuals who are steering industry direction, delivering innovation at scale, and broadening pathways to opportunity through genuinely inclusive leadership.
The leaders recognised in the 2026 HITEC 100 include some of the most respected names across global technology, drawn from Fortune 100 and major international enterprises, serving in capacities that include CEO, CIO, CTO, and a range of senior technology executive roles across varied disciplines. The composition of this year’s class speaks to the enormous breadth and strength of the technology ecosystem, with honourees drawn from multiple industries, regions, and organisations around the world.
“I am so proud of the 2026 HITEC 100 honorees—they are at the top of their game and demonstrating what it means to be an Architect of Growth in a global, technology-driven world,” said Miriam Hernandez-Kakol, Chair of the HITEC Board of Directors. “They create collaborative networks rooted in shared values and a culture of excellence. Their leadership shows what it takes to create enduring value across a broader ecosystem.”
“The evolution of the HITEC Awards is informed by extensive engagement with members and stakeholders and reinforces HITEC’s commitment to remaining relevant, inclusive, and impactful,” said HITEC President Omar Duque. “The HITEC 100 represents leadership that goes beyond title or tenure—leadership that influences beyond organizational boundaries and exemplifies innovation, responsibility, and measurable impact,” said Jesus Mantas, Vice-Chair of the HITEC Board of Directors. “By evolving the awards, we are recognizing exceptional leaders from all backgrounds who are advancing technology while intentionally strengthening pathways to growth for the next generation.”
HITEC 100 honourees are identified through a demanding and carefully structured recognition process intended to highlight the technology leaders making the greatest impact across the global ecosystem. Those selected have demonstrated strength across a range of criteria, including their leadership impact, the breadth and scale of their influence, their contributions to innovation and technological progress, and a proven commitment to investing in the growth of future leaders.
