4 point 3 magnitude earthquake strikes Kern County near Edwards Air Force Base, USGS says

KERN COUNTY, Calif. () — A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Johannesburg in Kern County, north of Edwards Air Force Base, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake hit just around 9:40 a.m. on Monday.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported following either quake. Eyewitness News viewers reported feeling the earthquake across Los Angeles County, including Burbank and Hollywood.
