President Trump is set to make a rare trip to L.A. County on Tuesday for an RNC fundraising event at his golf club in Rancho Palos Verdes.

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. () — President Donald Trump is set to make a rare trip to Southern California on Tuesday.
The president will attend a Republican National Committee (RNC) fundraising event at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes.
The president is set to leave Washington, D.C. sometime after 1 p.m. Eastern Time and arrive in SoCal by early Tuesday evening ahead of the RNC roundtable, which is set for 6:30 p.m.
He’s expected to highlight his administration’s economic and crime policies during the event.
The trip will also bring temporary flight restrictions and traffic delays around Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the South Bay.
Trump’s last official California stop came in January 2025 following the devastating Palisades and Eaton fires.

In a meeting with local, state and congressional leaders, Trump assured them “the federal government is standing behind you 100%.”
