Tom Blyth Reveals If He Would Ever Return to His Famous Blond Hair in the ‘Hunger Games’: ‘It Hurts Your Scalp’

Tom Blyth isn’t going back to blond — at least for now.

Blyth, 30, opened up about the infamous blond hair he rocked while playing Coriolanus Snow (the younger version of President Snow) in the prequel, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. While chatting with E! News at the People We Meet on Vacation premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 6, Blyth playfully shook his head when his icy-hued hair was mentioned.

“Everyone wants me to ask, and I know you don’t want me to ask [but] the blond hair. When are we revisiting it?” an E! News reporter asked him, in a video shared via TikTok on Wednesday, January 7.

Blyth replied, “Maybe someday, but it’s a lot of work.” He laughed, recalling how often he had to get his brunette roots redone..

On top of the upkeep, the actor actor admitted, “And it hurts your scalp.” He quipped, “I’m a little baby and I want a nice, healthy scalp.”

Believe it or not, Jennifer Aniston is not a natural blonde. Aniston, 56, opened up about her real hair color while promoting her haircare line, Lolavie. The actress revealed via Instagram on Tuesday, January 6, that contrary to popular belief, she’s actually a brunette. “Would I ever go brunette?” Aniston said in the video, repeating […]

“Will the odds be in our favor to see Tom Blyth as a blond again?👀,” E! News captioned the post. Fans shared their thoughts on Blyth’s response in the comments section.

“He looks better with brunette hair, though😭,” one wrote, while a second added, “He looks better brunette.” A third commented, “His natural hair is waay better, y’all don’t know ball.”

While some were happy that Blyth is keeping his look natural, others mourned his blond era in the comments section. “I miss the blond ughh,” one follower commented. A second added, “Maybe NOW.”

Blyth is starring as Alex Nilsen in People We Met on Vacation, which is set to premiere on Netflix on Friday, January 9, alongside Emily Bader, who is playing Poppy Wright.

People We Meet on Vacation follows Poppy and Alex as two best friends who reconnect for a week-long summer vacation.

Blyth isn’t the only star who opened up about their natural hair color this week. On Tuesday, January 6, Jennifer Aniston revealed that her blonde hair is actually thanks to bleach.

“Would I ever go brunette?” Aniston, 56, said in the social media video. “I am brunette,” she replied.

Her longtime pal and Friends costar Courteney Cox then walked into the room and layered a chunk of her brunette hair over Aniston’s. “Here,” she said. “This is what she looks like brunette.”

“I’m brunette,” Aniston said, calling Cox’s hair “black.”

“It’s not black! It’s dark brown,” Cox corrected her.

Aniston then returned to the question and repeated, “Would I ever go brunette? Yes. Well that was, you saw that answer, right? Did that work? That I was a natural brunette? This is fake.”

Throughout the years, Aniston’s hair has been a hot topic of conversation. In 1996, her iconic Friends haircut became known as “The Rachel” and went viral for its short layers and blown out style. Created by Chris McMillan, Aniston later confessed to Marie Claire in 2013 that she was not a fan of the look because she had “no idea” how to style it on her own.
