When I entered motherhood, few decisions felt as daunting as choosing what mattress my little one would sleep on. And, as a die-hard Helix mattress fan, I have to admit I’m jealous of the parents who can now add the newly released Helix crib mattress to their registries. Truth be told, I wish this launch had happened when my kiddos were still tossing and turning in their cribs.
Following the success of their viral and insanely well-reviewed Helix kids mattress, Helix is expanding its lineup with a new standard-size crib mattress — designed for the brand’s youngest sleepers. So if you’re building a baby registry, shopping for a new mom-to-be or just wanting a well-deserved sleep upgrade for your kiddos, this safe crib mattress deserves a closer look. Even better: it’s currently 20% off.

Far from being a collection of foam and fabric, Helix takes a safe sleep mattress to the next level with this new release. Developed with pediatric sleep specialists and parental input, the flippable, two-side design, which meets the American Academy of Pediatrics’ safety guidelines, features an extra-firm infant side and a firm toddler side. So when your kiddo is ready for a compatible toddler bed, this infant-to-toddler mattress makes the move with them — giving you one less thing to shop for.
Worried about those inevitable midnight blowouts or unexpected milk spills? Rest easy because this easy-to-clean crib mattress has you covered — quite literally. Its breathable, waterproof zip cover helps keep messes from sinking into the mattress core, and it’s also machine-washable for easy, on-the-go clean-up. The waterproof design also helps keep things like bacteria, mold and mites at bay.
If you’re hesitant to commit, consider Helix’s 120-day sleep trial and its limited lifetime warranty. While the Helix crib mattress is still relatively new, it’s already a hit with parents, kiddos and specialists alike.
My kiddos may have outgrown their cribs, but if I were building a registry today, this crib mattress would be at the top of the list. And with 20% off right now, there’s even more reason to add this baby registry essential to your cart.
