Taylor Swift has officially convinced me that burgundy is the color I need more of this fall. The rich, expensive-looking shade is practically made for cozy sweaters, especially when there’s a little preppy styling involved. And while I don’t have a pop star’s wardrobe budget, I can certainly get behind borrowing her latest knitwear look for less.
In a recent Instagram post, the “Fortnight” singer wore a $950 burgundy Burberry polo sweater with slouchy beige trousers from The Row and a slim black leather belt. The combination was giving rich girl meets collegiate chic, and naturally, I wanted to recreate it immediately.
