They’re flying high on this salary.
An aviation enthusiast has taken to X to share a pay stub purportedly belonging to a Southwest pilot — and it shows the huge sum of money they made in 2025.
Corbin Williams posted the picture on Dec. 23, although it’s unclear whether it was his own pay slip or whether it belonged to someone else.
The slip showed earnings between Dec.1 and Dec. 15, with the pilot bringing in a total of $16,762 that fortnight.
After taxes and other deductions, the aviation expert was left with a sizable $10,957 in net pay — proving pilots pull in impressive money.
The Southwest stub showed total earnings for the year to date were $292,260.
“2.5 years as a pilot at Southwest ~ $300k,” Williams wrote beneath the image. “What if you got paid this much to do something you love to do?!”
The pilot’s paycheck will likely get even larger in the years ahead, given that they’ll have more experience in the cockpit.
The Post has contacted Southwest for comment.
Williams’ post comes as the earnings of an American Airlines pilot hit the news.
A screenshotted paystub, purportedly belonging to a Miami-based American Airlines Boeing 737 captain, was first posted to Reddit and shows a jaw-dropping $458,000 in annual earnings.
The image immediately went viral — and many were happy that pilots were being paid a healthy wage for their work.
“I am absolutely fine with the bloke who’s in charge of the machine that is holding me 35k ft in the air being paid a lot of money,” wrote one flyer.
“Go get your pilot license kids,” joked a commenter.
“When your life rides in the hands of someone, you want the most capable person at the wheel. I love that captains get paid well, and that they have the training and expertise to keep the skies safe,” chimed in someone else.
