Southern Charm’s Rodrigo Reyes Says Craig Conover ‘Had a Lot to Answer for’ at Season 11 Reunion (Exclusive)

Craig Conover has had a roller coaster season of Southern Charm, and according to costar Rodrigo Reyes, all eyes will continue to be on him at the reunion.

“It was pretty hard,” Rodrigo, 41, exclusively told Us Weekly while attending the 37th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Beverly Hills on Thursday, March 5.

He explained that the upcoming season 11 reunion, which was filmed in February, was hardest for Craig, 37, after his recent ups and downs.

“I love Craig, but, you know, he had a lot to answer for, and he was in the hot seat a lot,” Rodrigo teased.

Throughout season 11 of the Bravo series, Craig butted heads with several castmates while trying to navigate his newly-single status. (Craig and girlfriend Paige DeSorbo split in late 2024 after dating for three years. This season was the first where Craig was single following the breakup.)

One of Craig’s biggest feuds came with longtime best friend Austen Kroll. The pair argued about everything from Austen, 38, allegedly not being happy to Craig’s partying ways. The pals, however, seemingly made up during a group meditation in Mexico on the Wednesday, March 4, episode of the show.

Rodrigo joked that Craig and Austen are the Southern Charm’s “little heated rivalry,” explaining that “with time, they have to just be willing to listen to one another and not step on their own feet.”

He pointed out, “I think sometimes they’re not listening to what the other one’s saying, and then that’s where the problems start happening.”

Craig also tussled with Venita Aspen and Salley Carson throughout the season.

Craig and Venita’s issues stem from her publicly siding with Craig’s ex Paige, 33, after their split. Craig then denounced Venita, 32, as his friend and their tensions continued to grow throughout season 11.

Craig and Salley, meanwhile, had a falling out after the Sewing Down South founder friend-zoned Salley, 31, and pursued a romantic relationship with her friend and season 11 newbie Charley Manley.

As Salley presented roadblocks between Craig and Charley, 28, he accused her of being a “tornado,” and during the group’s Mexico getaway Craig blew up at Salley in the car — which also affected how Charley saw him.

Despite all the drama, Rodrigo told Us on Thursday that fans can rest easy knowing that the cast does successfully talk out their drama at the reunion, which is set to air later this month.

“I think everyone will see that we all came out on the other side OK,” Rodrigo shared. “Afterwards, for the first time in years, we all went out together. So it was a nice step.”

He teased that viewers should still tune in to see “some highs” and “some lows” among the costars, noting that the “fact that we are a group of friends, at the end of the day” will help remedy the situation.

“We’ve all known each other for years, so it’s good that we could all [say], ‘OK, we’re all in this together,’” Rodrigo added.

In addition to teasing the Southern Charm reunion, Rodrigo has been keeping himself busy with different events, including the 37th Annual GLAAD Media Awards.

“It’s important to be in a room with, you know, all these talented people in the community and allies,” Rodrigo told Us about why he chose to attend the event at The Beverly Hilton. “I think it’s important for people to recognize the hard work that everyone puts in.”

He added, “I mean, I know I’m just on a reality show, but it’s nice to see all the other people that have done so many great things in film and TV. So I’m happy to see everyone shining. I really am.”

Southern Charm’s season 11 finale airs on Bravo Wednesday, March 11, at 8 p.m. ET.
