Brown bags may be dominating fall, but Scarlett Johansson just convinced Us to give the season’s go-to neutral a break. The actress stepped out carrying a ballet pink bag that made the soft, unexpected shade look surprisingly right for sweater weather. Consider it the pretty pop of color our muted fall wardrobes have been missing.
On September 25, Johansson was spotted attending the Paper Tiger premiere in New York City wearing a gray mini dress with silver strappy heels and a ballet pink mini Prada bag tucked under her arm. The pastel accessory softened the cool-toned outfit while giving it a fresh alternative to the chocolate brown, burgundy and other deeper shades we typically reach for this time of year. While the star’s Prada bag costs $1,390, we found a $22 version on Amazon that nails the look for less.
Get the Vodiu Small Shoulder Handbag for just $22 (Was $25) at Amazon! Please note, prices are accurate at the date of publication, September 21, 2026, but are subject to change.
The Vodiu Small Shoulder Handbag comes in a ballet pink shade that makes Johansson’s look easy to recreate for less. Made from high-grade PU leather, it has a zipper closure and two removable straps, so you can carry it tucked under your arm like Johansson or add the longer strap to wear it crossbody. It also comes in brown, beige, blue and several other shades if pink isn’t quite your thing.
More than 1,400 Amazon shoppers have given the bag a five-star rating, with reviewers especially loving how much the compact silhouette can hold. One shopper called it “small enough to carry around comfortably” but “big enough to fit a lot,” making it roomy enough for everyday essentials like a wallet, keys and sunglasses. You get the cute mini-bag look without sacrificing all your purse space.
Another reviewer said she can “wear it with everything” and “can easily dress it up or dress it down.” Pair the ballet pink shade with a slip dress and heels for dinner or let it add a softer touch to jeans, a sweater and a trench coat. It’s an easy way to experiment with Johansson’s unexpected fall color without committing to the designer price tag.
Johansson may have just given chocolate brown some serious competition this fall. Shop the $22 ballet pink shoulder bag on Amazon to recreate her pretty pop-of-color moment for less.
