Reality star Angel Victoria Murdock faked graduating Duke — but an even bigger lie could land her in real trouble

Social media personality Angel Victoria Murdock amassed over 300,000 followers posting about her high-end real estate business and studies at Duke University, winning fans with her “hard-work-pays-off” mindset.

She even parlayed her success into a spot as a “temptress” on six episodes of Netflix dating show “Temptation Island” in 2025.

However, the 26-year-old had been lying the whole time. She was exposed by graduates of the 2026 postgrad Physician Assistant program at Duke, who noted her gown was the wrong color in faked “graduation” photos.

Murdock even posted photos in a gown claiming she graduated Duke, saying “every late night, every sacrifice every setback’ was worth it,” despite the fact she never actually attended the college.

“Today, I get to look back and realize that every late night, every sacrifice, every setback and every prayer was leading me right here,” she wrote in an Instagram caption.

However, a spokesman for Duke University confirmed to The Post there is “no record of a student by the name of Angel Murdock having applied to or attended the Duke Physician Assistant Program” at the $74,000-a-year school.

She also falsely presented herself as a licensed realtor in North Carolina and Georgia online — which could have more serious consequences.

Murdock published listings for properties worth $300,000, shared house tours, posted pictures of “clients” and boasted about making as much as $7,200 a month as a real estate agent on social media. Her biography states she is “Licensed in NC & GA.”

Angel Victoria Murdock shared her alleged earnings from her real estate business in a 2022 TikTok video, but The Post could not find that she had a real estate license in Georgia or North Carolina, as she claims. TikTok

“Shoutout to my clients! Trying to sell and buy can be difficult but they pulled it off. Today we finally closed! Thank you for trusting me! Congrats Jenny and Matt,” Murdock wrote under a picture of a happy couple with a baby signing a document in 2021.

In late 2022 she posted: “I got my license in September and ive been grinding ever since!”

However, the 26-year-old from Raleigh is not listed on North Carolina or Georgia’s database of licensed realtors. Howard Hanna Allen Tate Real Estate, where she claimed to have worked, confirmed it has never employed anyone by Murdock’s name.

Impersonating a real estate broker is a class one misdemeanor in North Carolina, which could result in jail time, and a misdemeanor in Georgia, where offenders can face fines.

Murdock also used the REALTOR title, a federally registered trademark belonging to the National Association of Realtors, despite not being a member.

It is unclear if the content creator actually earned cash broking property deals or — as appears more likely — fabricated them. If she had operated as an unlicensed realtor, Murdock could potentially face more hefty prosecution and potential prison time.

A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department source said Murdock is not currently under investigation, but would take the matter seriously if anyone came forward to say they were the “victim of impersonation.”

Murdock and the National Association of Realtors did not respond to requests for comment from The Post.

She also claimed she completed a double major in Psychology and Biology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte — but The Post can reveal she never graduated, dropping out halfway through her studies, according to the university.

Murdock had racked up millions of likes on TikTok posting about her supposed life at Duke, including videos of her donning scrubs for apparent clinical rotations and studying with medical notes.

Her brazen graduation posts were her downfall, as not one of the 89 students on the program could verify seeing her on campus, in class or at any social event at any point during the two-year course.

It sparked a group chat where they began sleuthing to uncover the truth, discovering Murdock was not in the Duke University 2026 class photo, not registered with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PAs) and did not have her name called in the two-hour graduation ceremony.

Suspicions about the influencer were first raised last year when the students supposedly in her class noticed her TikToks.

“It was sometime last year that we found out about her. We knew she was a fake but we kind of let it go because we were too busy,” a recent Duke PA graduate, who wished to stay anonymous, told The Post.

“She had gone quiet for a really long time and it was ‘out of sight, out of mind’ but one of my friends sent me her graduation pics and it was crazy.

“I thought, ‘Okay this girl is going all the way to the finish line’. She needs to be stopped.

“I was angry as hell, if I am being honest, I was so mad because PA school is not a joke. It is hell on earth, it is so hard you are constantly in the trenches.

“So seeing someone faking and parading around campus when you haven’t opened a single textbook was the final straw.”

She said there were only six black women on the course and it was “obvious” Murdock was not a part of their class.

“I think Angel did it for the optics. She knew this was the number one PA program and wanted the clout and the prestige,” the graduate added. “She wanted the world to know she had the beauty and the brains.”

Kiera Lee, who was the class historian of the recent cohort, said she knows every person on the course and never heard of Murdock.

“If you look closely, she [Murdock] has never posted anything from inside our program,” she said.

“It really sucks because we are actually going through it. It’s a very big deal to impersonate somebody.”

Lee claimed that once she was documenting her own journey during her clinical year, Murdock followed her on Instagram and began posting content on the same rotations.

“It’s scary because now that you have ‘graduated’, what were you going to do?” She added. Murdock appeared on “Temptation Island” as a single used to test the relationships of four couples in Hawaii. She has since deactivated her main TikTok and Instagram accounts due to the backlash.
