ALHAMBRA, Calif. () — A high-speed police chase across multiple Southland counties ended in a violent crash in Alhambra on Tuesday.
California Highway Patrol officers were chasing the suspect in a reportedly stolen vehicle on the 10 Freeway in Ontario.
The suspect, who was in a silver Toyota, reached speeds of up to 90 mph on the freeway with multiple CHP units close behind.
The suspect exited the 10 Freeway in the Alhambra area around 2 p.m. That’s when it appeared he lost control of the vehicle, crashed and was taken into custody.
Details surrounding the alleged theft of the vehicle were not immediately known.
