Person killed in hit-and-run crash at Van Nuys intersection

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES () — A person was killed in a hit-and-run crash at a busy intersection in Van Nuys on Monday night, according to police.

The crash was reported shortly after 10 p.m. in the area of Sherman Way and Sepulveda Boulevard.

Crime-scene tape blocked off the intersection, where a white canopy covered the victim’s body.

Multiple police cruisers were at the scene as officers investigated.
