Pacific Palisades hit-and-run leaves man dead

PACIFIC PALISADES, LOS ANGELES () — A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Pacific Palisades Tuesday afternoon, and police are searching for the driver accused of fleeing the scene.

The crash was reported around 2 p.m. in the 17100 block of Palisades Circle, near a complex of townhomes, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Footage from the scene shows a white tent covering the victim, and crime-scene tape blocking access to a road in the neighborhood.

A description of the suspect vehicle was not immediately available.
