The retail renaissance is here.
Shoppers may have seemingly sworn off brick-and-mortar as scrolling has made scooping up your favorites as easy as sitting on your couch. Major retailers all have apps and online storefronts offering super easy access with a tap on your screen.
But buyers like an experience, especially when it comes to clothes. Shopping in stores offers what online does not — trying the products on before purchasing — allowing customers the chance to avoid a pesky return, which sometimes comes with fees.
Luxury department store chain Nordstrom is leading the way and investing more into physical locations. Known for its wide array of clothing, shoes and beauty products, the retailer’s sister store, Nordstrom Rack, is opening 24 new spots.
Nordstrom Rack is its off-price retail chain offering clothing, shoes, accessories, and home decor, all discounted up to 70% off. According to the brand, the 24 locations have either opened earlier this year or are set to open by 2026.
Just last year, Nordstrom Rack opened 38 new stores across 18 states, offering shoppers another reason to spend. The move came shortly after retailers were forced to change strategies due to COVID. With the rise of digital and better deals from other retailers like TJ Maxx and Marshalls, the chain ended 2020 with major losses.
The company did a bit of restructuring and got a lifeline from a savvy Mexican investor who took the retailer off the stock market. The sharp business leader helped overhaul stores by offering a larger jewelry section, store upgrades and increased love for its Rack locations.
This year, bargain hunters will see 24 new Rack sites and The Post put together a handy list to get you shopping ready.
According to the chain, four of the 24 locations have already opened and are up and running at:
- Pinnacle at Turkey Creek — Knoxville, Tennessee
- El Camino Promenade — Encinitas, California
- Elmwood Center — Harahan, Louisiana
- Sarasota Pavilion — Sarasota, Florida
The other 20 stores are scheduled to open from August 20 to November 5. Check out the entire list of new locations coming:

- The Venue at Belden — Canton, Ohio on August 20
- Colony Place — Plymouth, Massachusetts on September 3

- Dillon Ridge Marketplace — Dillon, Colorado on October 1
- Interstate Shopping Center — Ramsey, New Jersey on October 8
- Willow Ridge Plaza — Marlton, New Jersey on October 8
- Northpointe Plaza — Spokane, Washington on October 15
- Bloomingdale Court — Bloomingdale, Illinois on October 22
- Junction Commons — Park City, Utah on October 22
- Settlers Market — Williamsburg, Virginia on October 22
- Deptford Town Center — Deptford, New Jersey on October 29
- Las Tiendas Shopping Center — McAllen, Texas on October 29
- Mansfield Crossing — Mansfield, Massachusetts on October 29
- Montrose Plaza — Akron, Ohio on October 29
- New Towne Plaza — Canton, Michigan on October 29
- Promenade at Granite Run — Media, Pennsylvania on October 29
- Shoppes at Stadium — Columbia, Missouri on October 29
- Tri-Cities Center — Kennewick, Washington on November 5
