The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Zac Affleck is sharing his side of the story after estranged wife Jen Affleck shared a shocking video in which he described her breasts as “sagging.”
On Thursday, Jen, 27, posted a throwback video via TikTok amid the couple’s ongoing divorce, writing over the footage, “POV: your [sic] two weeks postpartum trying to become an influencer.”
In the clip, Zac can be heard saying, “[I] hope you’re not making a TikTok looking like that. … Your boobs are literally like … Your tits are sagging all over. You don’t want to post that, baby, I can tell you that right now.”
“He was never my biggest supporter,” pregnant Jen captioned the post, referring to Zac’s TikTok video earlier Thursday about their divorce, in which he said he would continue to be her “biggest fan.”
A follower quizzed Zac, 30, about Jen’s upload in the comments section of his video on Thursday, writing, “As much as I don’t like Jen.. if my husband told me my boobs were ‘saggy’ 2 weeks after giving birth, I’d never forgive him.”
Zac responded, “This was a video from 2022. Obviously horrible and should have never been said. When I saw the video today, I was absolutely shocked I had said that. I said a lot of horrible and hurtful things, but I have tried my best to learn and grow.”
Us confirmed that Jen filed for divorce from Zac in Utah on Tuesday, November 3. She also submitted a proposed parenting plan, the details of which are private.
Jen and Zac married in 2019 and share three children: daughters Nora, 5, Penny, 16 months, and son Luca, 3.
In June, the former couple announced that they were expecting their fourth child together.
After news of Jen’s divorce filing broke earlier this week, Zac addressed his relationship status in a TikTok video Thursday.
“I’m just going to speak from the heart,” Zac began. “Anyways, so yes, it is true that Jen filed for divorce yesterday, and it is true that I found out from a TMZ reporter about the filing, but regardless of that, this is something we’ve been talking about for a long time. Jen came to me about a year ago after Dancing with the Stars and told me she was unhappy and wanted a divorce, and I basically begged her to stay.”
“It sucks because I really do love Jen, and I still love Jen. And yeah, when I first met Jen, she had this light about her, unlike anyone I’ve ever met, and she really does have such a good heart,” he said. “I will continue to support her and be her biggest fan.”
