Meta glasses users sue over alleged sharing of sensitive videos without their consent

Some Meta glasses users are going to court saying the devices shared sensitive video without their consent.

The class action lawsuit claims intimate content was shared with workers abroad — who were paid to review and label the content.

Court documents say that contractors working in Kenya helped train Meta’s artificial intelligence.

Some sensitive videos include people using the restroom, typing in passwords and bedroom encounters.

Meta has commented on the lawsuit saying they disagree with the allegations and review data only to improve the products.
