If there’s anyone who knows a thing or two about dressing for chilly fall days, it’s Martha Stewart. The lifestyle queen has mastered that cozy, countryside aesthetic that makes even the simplest outfits look expensive. And her recent outerwear pick is exactly the kind of practical, rich-mom layer I want in my closet this season.
Stewart showed off her fall style on Instagram while horseback riding, wearing a quilted brown puffer vest from her own collection with a beige long-sleeve top, cream leggings and black riding boots. The whole outfit was giving chic equestrian meets country weekend, and the best part? Her exact vest is available on Amazon for just $45.

The Martha Stewart Quilted Down Puffer Vest is the kind of lightweight layer you’ll reach for when it’s too chilly to go without a jacket but not quite cold enough for a winter coat. It features a quilted design, cozy down filling and functional zippered pockets to keep your phone, keys and other essentials secure. Stewart wore the rich brown shade, but it also comes in Toasted Taupe, pink, teal, red and more, with sizes ranging from XS to 3X.
Amazon shoppers also love the versatile design. One reviewer who owns “8 different colors” called it a “must-have to keep warm and look fashionable.” With more than 600 five-star ratings, it’s clear Stewart isn’t the only one who appreciates a good layering piece.
Another shopper called it the “best jacket ever,” describing the vest as “gorgeous and lightweight.” They also shared that they’ve “gotten many compliments” while wearing it around town. Between the flattering quilted silhouette and lightweight feel, it’s easy to see why shoppers are stocking up on multiple colors.
Whether you’re heading to the farmers market, taking the dog for a walk or spending Thanksgiving weekend in the countryside, Stewart’s $45 vest fits right into your fall wardrobe. Pair it with leggings and riding boots to copy her equestrian-inspired outfit, or throw it over a chunky sweater with jeans and loafers for an everyday look. Either way, it’s a cozy, expensive-looking layer you’ll be glad to have on hand when temperatures drop.

A classic pair of white sneakers can handle long walks, airport sprints and hours on your feet while still looking cute enough to wear once you reach your destination. Even better, they work with practically everything you could […]
