Man stabbed in neck during attempted robbery at Koreatown gas station

KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES () — A man was stabbed and injured during an attempted robbery in Koreatown, and a suspect has been taken into custody.

The incident happened near a gas station at Western and 3rd Street Tuesday night.

Investigators say a suspect tried to rob someone, but the victim fought back and was stabbed in the neck.

The suspect ran away from the scene, but some good Samaritans caught up and detained him until police got there.
