SOUTH LOS ANGELES () — Police are looking for two drivers responsible for a hit-and-run crash that left a man on an E-scooter dead in South L.A.
The deadly crash happened around 9:45 p.m. on Friday, when police say the first driver hit an approximately 35-year-old man who was riding an E-scooter.
Los Angeles police said the man was crossing Broadway in the crosswalk at 85th Street at the time of the crash.
The victim was dragged about 700 feet and left behind. That’s when police say he was hit by another car and dragged 200 more feet.
Police say neither driver stopped, and the crime scene spans about three blocks. Investigators haven’t released any vehicle descriptions.
The Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced the man dead at the scene.
