NORTH HILLS, LOS ANGELES () — Video captured a violent crash near a busy North Hills intersection that caused a pickup truck to slam into a man in a wheelchair.
The crash happened around 10 a.m. in the area of Nordhoff Street and Orion Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Bystander video shows an SUV slamming into a pickup, causing the truck to spin out of control toward the curb and crash into the man in the wheelchair.
The impact launched the man into the air, sending him into a food vendor.
A witness who recorded the crash said the moment left him stunned.
“He flew into the parking lot off the curb… That really sent my adrenaline spiking, definitely had to pull over,” Guillermo Garcia said.
Video shows several people rushing in to help. It’s unclear how seriously the man and the vendor were injured.
So far, there have been no arrests.
