Love Is Blind alum Alexa Lemieux has one regret about her pod experience — and eventual divorce.
“If I were to go on Love Is Blind to give advice, I would make sure that’s in the contract [for] y’all both to have to sign [a prenuptial agreement],” Lemieux, 31, said on the Thursday, May 21 episode of the “He Said G Said” podcast. “That should be required. I think that actually should be a part of it very much … like, ‘Hey, you need to sign this before whatever,’ and I think that that would just help everybody.”
Alexa got engaged to Brennon Lemieux sight unseen in the Love Is Blind season 3 pods, where she was vocal about her hopes to sign a prenup. Brennan, 35, agreed to his then-bride’s stipulations at the time, but Alexa eventually had a change of heart.
“There should be absolutely zero shame in a prenup,” Alexa told podcast hosts Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann. “I feel like my mindset on it and when I was like, ‘Oh, I’m not doing that’ because it’s kind of jinxing it for the beginning like, ‘Oh, it’s not going to work out.’ It’s not.”
Alexa and Brennon tied the knot in 2021, welcoming daughter Vienna three years later. Alexa announced in December 2025 that she had separated from Brennon, who quietly filed for divorce that November, after four years of marriage.
“You know who you’re marrying. You don’t know who you’re divorcing, so when you’re getting married, you’re in love, and so if you write a prenup now, you’re doing it as somebody who you love him and you want the best for him and you love her and you want the best for her,” Alexa explained on Thursday. “Those are the people that you want to sign the prenup because you generally want the best for the other person when you’re making those decisions. When you’re in divorce, you’re kind of like, ‘F*** you,’ [and] you know, that’s normal.”
She continued, “When you’re doing it, when you’re together, you’re coming from a loving place when you’re doing it.”
For Alexa, she tried to approach her ongoing divorce from Brennon in a similar way.

“I would say, like, even through my divorce process, I did mine [in] a very loving way,” she said. “I genuinely do not want to take our daughter from you. Like, I want you to be in her life.”
Alexa further noted that she and Brennon are already “doing pretty well” with coparenting.
“[We’re] trying to have dinner together and trying to find a friendly dynamic … and trying to get a healthy [relationship] and you have to coparent,” she added. “Like, [we] have a child who still gets up in the middle of the night, that’s already hard when you’re more of a team. I think we try to keep things as normal as possible.”
