Los Angeles traffic alert: Several lanes of NB 5 Freeway in Burbank shut down due to fatal crash

BURBANK, Calif. () — A deadly crash blocked several lanes of the 5 Freeway Monday morning in Burbank.

The collision happened around 4 a.m. along the northbound lanes, just south of Burbank Boulevard.

The two left lanes remained open, but the rest were expected to be closed for at least three hours.

It’s unclear what caused the crash.
