Hollywood’s stars are fading away.

It might be known for honoring the best in the biz, but today, the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame leaves a lot to be desired.

According to a UK tourist, who recently visited Los Angeles and documented her trip via TikTok, Hollywood is the “worst place in LA” to visit.

“The first thing I saw when I got to Hollywood is human waste on the pavement,” the travel content creator, who goes by the name Jasmine, said. “I’m trying to put it in a nice way, but I’m actually talking about human feces on the floor.”

In the clip, Jasmine warned visitors of the area’s pronounced homeless crisis, litter and “unpleasant sights.”

“To me, it’s just crazy that this is one of the most famous places in the whole entire world. Just feels so deflating. Don’t know how else to explain it,” she said. “Until you’ve seen it for yourself, it’s hard to kind of describe.”

In a separate video opening up about the reality of Hollywood, Jasmine said her trip to Los Angeles left her with unmet expectations.

“I think before going to Los Angeles, I’d built up an image in my head of what I thought it might be,” said Jasmine. “It was absolutely nothing like I imagined.”

“Although there’s some really fantastic places in LA to go, some of the places are just really run down,” she continued.

Later in the video, Jasmine said that if she could do her trip over, she would have completely skipped Hollywood.

“Now, whenever someone tells me they’re going to LA, I say ‘Please don’t go with unrealistic expectations.’”

The video racked up more than 1,000 comments.

“Totally agree, I was massively disappointed, especially Hollywood, that was like a crack den,” said one commenter.

“We went in March, and it’s so sooooo run down, we went on Oscar week so a lot of it was hidden and covered over,” another tourist wrote.

“I thought the same. I’m glad I went and can say I’ve seen it, but it was a huge disappointment,” said a third.

One user blamed the TikToker for not doing more research.

“Zero research before a vacation. It would’ve taken one TikTok search to see how gross Hollywood is. Locals do not go there,” they wrote.

In January, the Walk of Fame earned the distinction of worst tourist attraction on the planet, according to analysts at travel company Stasher.

“Located [23 miles] from the LAX airport, this sidewalk of celebrity stars had the lowest Google rating and safety score,” analysts said.

In May, the Walk of Fame was the site of a brutal stabbing in broad daylight. 37-year-old Berry Henderson was stabbed to death by a group of men after he defended himself from a vicious attack from a dog.
