You may be surprised to know that Hilary Duff‘s radiant complexion starts long before any makeup enters the picture. The actress recently prepped her skin with Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum, a hydration-packed formula designed to deliver an instant boost of radiance while plumping up the skin and making the complexion appear more refreshed.
Celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenhian used the serum on Duff ahead of her appearance on the American Music Awards red carpet, where her skin looked luminous, healthy and naturally glowing underneath the lights.
As the name suggests, hydration is the heart of Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum. The lightweight serum is infused with hyaluronic acid, which helps attract and retain moisture within the skin, creating a plumper, bouncier appearance. The texture feels silky and refreshing upon application, plus it absorbs quickly and layers well under moisturizer, sunscreen and makeup, making it easy to incorporate into your everyday routine.

What makes the formula great for moisturizing and brightening the skin is the fact that it contains vitamin C alongside Clinique’s proprietary hydration technology. It has both short- and long-term benefits, delivering an instant hit of hydration for a healthy-looking glow from within, while reinforcing a healthier skin barrier over time. And because it contains vitamin C, it also helps improve the appearance of uneven skin tone and dullness. Your skin will glow even on makeup-free days!
Amazon shoppers are raving about the formula. One reviewer said, “I have been buying this on repeat since the beginning of the year. I use it morning and night under my moisturizer and it is super light but gives deep hydration. I have noticed my dark spots are much lighter.”
Another shopper with mature skin said it “gives off a healthy looking glow on my 57 year old skin,” adding that it “calms my rosacea.”
