Beef it like Beckham.
In the aftermath of Brooklyn Beckham’s revelation that he has no intention of reconciling with his famous parents, the human grist mill that is the internet is grinding out speculation about the relationship between Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, and his mother, Victoria Beckham.
Pop culture, prevailing folk knowledge and real-deal research suggest that the dynamic between boy moms and their daughters-in-law is rife with conflict.
Indeed, a 2022 study found that women reported more conflict with their mothers-in-law (44%) than with their own mothers (39%).
“Both the mother and the wife are struggling to achieve the same position in the family, the primary woman. Each tries to establish or protect their status. Each feels threatened by the other,” Dr. Terri Apter, a psychologist from Cambridge University, previously told The Post.
In the case of Peltz and Beckham, however, this power play is amplified by their astrology.
In this corner, the former Posh Spice, born unto us on April 17, 1974, has an instigatory Aries sun and a weirder than a box of hair Aquarius moon.
Her daughter-in-law, Peltz, born on January 9, 1995, has an ‘I did not come to play’ Capricorn sun and a leisure-loving, ‘disturbing my peace is an act of war’ Taurus moon.

Aries is an accelerant, ever on the lookout for fuel for the pyre of their rage, and Capricorn would rather conserve their energy for endeavors with a clear ROI.
