Gizelle Bryant sets some clear boundaries for her Real Housewives of Potomac costars when Kyle Richards‘ ex Mauricio Umansky pays them a visit.
In Us Weekly‘s exclusive first look at the show’s Sunday, January 18, episode, Mauricio, 55, playfully greets the RHOP ladies in Aspen, teasing, “What are you all doing in my town?”
Gizelle, also 55, gives Mauricio a hug before introducing the Housewives husband in a confessional.
“Mauricio is married to — I think they’re still married — to Kyle Richards, who is a Beverly Hills Housewife,” she tells the camera. “Mauricio would definitely be somebody that I spent some quality time with … horizontal. It’s just the Beverly Hills, Kyle of it all.”
Gizelle insists she would never “want any Beverly Hills [vs.] Potomac drama.”
As Mauricio mingles with the group, Ashley Darby and the other women question his relationship status. While talking to the RHOP ladies, Mauricio explains that his daughter Alexia‘s bachelorette party is what brought him to Aspen — but he didn’t have plans that night.
“No, Mauricio is off-limits to all of us,” Gizelle tells her costars after their ears perk up.

Along with Alexia, 29, Mauricio shares daughters Sophia, 25, and Portia, 18, with Kyle, 57. Mauricio is also stepdad to Kyle’s daughter Farrah, 37, from a previous marriage.
News broke in 2023 that Kyle and Mauricio split after more than two decades of marriage. At the time, the pair shut down rumors that they had plans to officially divorce amid continued speculation that Kyle was romantically involved with singer Morgan Wade.
“While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative,” their statement read. “Thank you for the love and support.”
Despite their split, Kyle and Mauricio have remained cordial. The twosome were even spotted together on multiple occasions while celebrating Christmas and New Year’s — but reconciliation is not in the cards.
“They are not getting back together or rekindling their romance,” a source exclusively told Us earlier this month, noting that Kyle and Mauricio are “in a really good place” with their current relationship.

According to the insider, there’s “still so much love” between the exes. “Kyle and Mau have done a good job maintaining normalcy in front of the girls especially during the holiday season,” the source continued. “Of course it would be great if they called off their separation, but the family knows it’s most likely not going to happen.”
For now, Kyle and Mauricio are keeping things platonic. “They are genuinely friends right now and still have so much fun together,” the insider told Us. “They have been loving toward one another, but that doesn’t mean they are getting back together. … Everyone is very happy.”
With season 10 well underway, RHOP fans have been looking forward to seeing Mauricio’s crossover appearance. Ashley previously teased his “smooth” vibe while speaking to Us in October 2025.
“I think [he and Gizelle] have, like, some sort of friendship from before,” she hinted at the time. “There’s more there that I don’t even know about.”
