Due to popular demand, a second performance has been added for the Falsettos 10th Anniversary Reunion Concert at the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall on Monday, November 2, 2026 at 7 pm. The Monday, October 18 performance, which was meant to be a one-night-only benefit concert, went on sale last month and sold out in less than two hours.
The original stars of Lincoln Center’s acclaimed 2016 revival – Tony Award-winner Stephanie J. Block, Tony Award-winner Christian Borle, Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells, Emmy Award nominee Tracie Thoms, Tony Award-winner Brandon Uranowitz and Tony Award nominee Betsy Wolfe – will all reprise their roles for both performances, with a special guest appearance by Anthony Rosenthal (the revival’s original ‘Jason’).
It was also announced that Tony Award nominated director / choreographer Ellenore Scott, who served as assistant choreographer on the 2016 revival production of Falsettos, will direct both benefit performances. Additionally, Cory Pattak will serve as the benefit’s Lighting Designer. As previously announced, Vadim Feichtner returns as Music Director and Conductor, conducting a band that includes most of the revival’s original musicians.
“Ten years ago, I had the gift of watching these brilliant actors work, and helped bring this beautiful show to life on Broadway as an assistant choreographer,” Scott said. “Since, this extraordinary company has become a group of dear friends. To return to it all now as director ten years later, surrounded by so many of the artists who made that production special, feels like the most beautiful full-circle moment. There is so much love woven into William Finn’s gorgeous show, and getting to bring this tight knit family back together at Carnegie Hall is truly an honor of a lifetime.”
Both performances will benefit The BroadwayEveryDay Foundation and Family Equality.
Originally produced as Falsettoland in 1990, this groundbreaking musical tells the story of a gay man named Marvin, his lover Whizzer, Marvin’s wife Trina, and their extended family from the early ‘80s through the early days of the AIDS crisis. The revival opened on October 27, 2016 at the Walter Kerr Theatre and earned five Tony nominations including Best Revival, with the New York Times calling it “a perfect musical” in their Critic’s Pick review. The acclaimed production was also filmed for PBS’s Live from Lincoln Center series. Ten years later, this reunion will celebrate the musical’s profound impact on audiences and honor the legacy of William Finn and James Lapine’s seminal work, bringing it to a new generation from the stage of one of the world’s most iconic venues.
