The 78th Emmy Awards are underway, and television’s biggest stars are taking home some of the night’s top honors.

The industry’s biggest shows and stars are competing for the top honors and we’re tracking all the winners as the night unfolds.

“The Pitt” headed into tonight’s awards show with the most nominations. It earned 25 nods overall and is nominated in five major drama categories in tonight’s telecast, including outstanding drama series, directing and writing. Noah Wyle is also looking to win his second Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a drama series.

Close behind in nominations is the medical drama’s fellow HBO Max series, “Hacks,” which earned 24 nods total this year and is up for six major categories on Monday night, including outstanding comedy series, directing and writing. “Hacks” star Jean Smart is vying for a five-peat Emmy win for outstanding lead actress.

Shows that are also nominated tonight include “Widow’s Bay,” “Pluribus,” “The Diplomat,” “The Bear,” “Abbott Elementary” and more.
