After the success of their one-million free coffees giveaway on April Fools Day, the coffee chain is doing it again.
On Tuesday, April 21, Dunkin’ will be giving away another one million free coffees.
Dunkin’ Rewards members simply have to enter the promo code “FREECOFFEE1” in their Dunkin’ app starting at 9 a.m. local time on April 21 to redeem the offer, while supplies last.
If customers try to enter the promo code too early, it will appear as expired — until 9 a.m.
The company teased the promotion in a cryptic post on Instagram on Friday, April 17. The post featured a screenshot of the Notes app with text that said, “just a girl and her notes app.”
One of the notes in the screenshot had the subject line “Another million coffees? April 21st?” with text below that said “drop @ 9am code could be freecoffee1.”
“Just gonna leave this here,” the company wrote in the caption.
Customers have seven days after adding the offer to their account to redeem it. There’s a limit of one per customer, and cold brew and extra-large hot coffees are not included in the promotion.
The screenshot of the Notes app also featured some potential hints for future menu drops.
One said, “Things I miss. oreo coolatta,” referencing the Oreo-flavored frozen beverage that was on the menu back in 2015. Many sleuths believe this means it could return for the summer.
Another note said, “Work to do. Make content for new spring menu next week,” suggesting another spring menu drop could be coming soon.
Dunkin’ already released a spring menu on March 4 that focuses on banana-flavored items, such as banana syrup and cold foam and drinks like Banana Puddin’ Cloud Latte, Banana Daydream Refresher and Bananarama Matcha.
