Dodgers on the brink of elimination after loss to Brewers in NLCS Game 3

LOS ANGELES () — The Dodgers’ dreams of winning a third straight World Series are quickly fading.

The defending champion Dodgers are in danger of being swept by the Brewers after Milwaukee beat Los Angeles 6-2 to take a 3-0 lead in the National League Championship Series.

After a Will Smith double gave the Dodgers a 2-1 lead in the sixth inning, the Brewers immediately answered in the seventh with two home runs off Blake Snell: a two-run blast by Jake Bauers, followed by a solo shot by Garrett Mitchell.

Milwaukee added a run in the eighth after a wild pitch that brought in a runner from third base. The Brewers added another run in the ninth.

Jackson Chourio hit a solo homer on the first pitch of the game.

Los Angeles now faces a must-win game Thursday at Dodger Stadium. Tyler Glasnow is set to pitch for the Dodgers.
