LOS ANGELES () — The family of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, the 14-year-old girl whose decomposing, dismembered body was found in singer D4vd’s Tesla, will give a public statement on Monday.
It will be the first time we hear from them since D4vd’s arrest.
An attorney representing the family says they plan to attend D4vd’s arraignment and the district attorney’s press conference.
Following the DA’s press conference, the family will make their first public statement through their attorney outside the courthouse.
7 has learned the teenager’s parents and sister will be present.
D4vd was arrested on Thursday in connection with the killing of Rivas Hernandez. The 21-year-old singer, whose legal name is David Burke, is being held without bail.
In a statement, the singer’s attorneys maintained his innocence.
The body of Rivas Hernandez, a 14-year-old from Lake Elsinore, was found in September 2025 in the trunk of a towed Tesla registered to D4vd.
She was reported missing in 2024, investigators confirmed to News following the discovery.
