Clairvoyant Baba Vanga, long believed by devotees to have foreseen events such as 9/11 and the COVID-19 pandemic, predicted alien visitors and the outbreak of World War III for this year.
The blind Bulgarian mystic, who died in 1996 at age 85, was said to have predicted humanity’s first-ever encounter with extraterrestrial life would take place in November 2026, according to The Mirror.
She warned that a colossal alien spacecraft would enter Earth’s atmosphere, though she did not elaborate on the visitors’ intentions.
The prediction has taken on added intrigue for some believers amid an uptick in reported Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) sightings over the past decade and continued speculation surrounding 3I/ATLAS, an object lingering in the solar system that has fueled debate over whether it is an interstellar comet or something more unusual.
Among her most ominous forecasts was a warning that World War III would erupt in 2026 — a prediction made more unsettling by rising global tensions, including a potential Chinese takeover of Taiwan and a direct confrontation between Russia and the United States.
However, Vanga also predicted the world would not come to an end until 5079, meaning the potentially catastrophic war would not mark humanity’s final chapter
She further warned that society is nearing a breaking point at which it will realize it has “gone too far.”
That prediction is said to center on technology and morality, with enthusiasts asserting the clairvoyant foresaw a time when societies would collectively acknowledge they had crossed ethical and technological boundaries.
Followers claim this reckoning would not arrive as a single catastrophic event, but instead unfold gradually, fueled by escalating global tensions and scientific breakthroughs that fundamentally alter human relationships, according to the Mirror.
Born in 1911 as Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, Vanga later became known as the “Nostradamus of the Balkans” for predictions attributed to her, including 9/11 and Princess Diana’s death.
Beyond her 2026 forecasts, she was also said to have predicted that artificial organs could enter mass production as early as 2046, with her alleged forecasts of breakthroughs in cancer detection often linked to ethical and technological concerns.
As for humanity’s fate, Vanga warned of a long and difficult road ahead.
Vanga’s timeline for the end of humanity
2028: Humans will begin to explore Venus as an energy source.
2033: The polar ice caps will melt, raising sea levels to drastic heights worldwide.
2076: Communism will spread to countries across the world.
2170: A drought will devastate much of the world.
3005: Earth will go to war with a civilization on Mars.
3797: Humans will have to vacate the Earth because it’s become uninhabitable.
5079: The world will end.
While some of her prophecies appear terrifying, the mystic’s track record isn’t spotless, as some predictions were wildly off base — including claims that Barack Obama would be the last US president and that World War III would kick off in 2010.
Another claim attributed to her suggested aliens would announce their arrival by disrupting a major sporting event in 2025, a forecast that failed to come to fruition.
