Transitioning from the end of summer into the beginning of fall brings confusing weather. My trick for dressing for transitional weather? I always keep a versatile top on hand for easy layering. It’s a piece I can put on when I’m chilly, then remove when I’m not — and my outfit looks chic either way. 3. Super Soft: Made of a soft, slightly stretchy material, this pullover sweater is lightweight enough to act as a comfy layer. It’s ideal for styling over a cute top when it gets cold, and feels especially trendy with its slightly preppy look.
4. Classic Pick: You can’t go wrong with a lightweight denim button-down. The relaxed fit makes it work as a layer over a tank top or a dress, and it looks stylish left open or buttoned up.
5. Oversized Look: Chic but still so easy to throw on, this oversized button-down is more versatile than you think. Layer it over a sundress, pair it with shorts or wear it with jeans — it looks good with just about everything.
