A significant weather system is moving through Southern California on Monday afternoon, bringing thunderstorms, lightning and heavy rain to some communities.
A Flood Advisory was issued for parts of the San Fernando Valley as the storms moved through. The advisory is set to expire at 2:45 p.m.
AIR7 video from above the area showed dark and stormy skies as the system began to move in. With strong winds, the storm is moving quickly toward the east.
