Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 6/29/26

Of note this week: DEATH BECOMES HER, GIANT, and THE FEAR OF 13 closed on 6/28. DEATH OF A SALESMAN had a planned seven-performance week. EVERY BRILLIANT THING had five performances with 986 seats and three performances with 985 seats this week, for a total capacity of 7,885.                

Richard O’Brien’s THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW broke the house record at Studio 54 – with a box office take of $1,215,225 – and became the highest grossing production to play at the theatre.

This week (week ending 06/29/2026), 35 shows played on Broadway, with 291,840 tickets sold and a total gross of $36,698,946. The average ticket price was $125.75. This represents 3 fewer shows than last week. Overall capacity utilization was 87.29%, with 291,840 of 334,321 available seats filled.

Attendance decreased by 5.22% compared to last week. Compared to the same week last year (Week 26, 2025), attendance decreased by 2.23%.

Overall grosses fell 5.78% compared to last week. Year-over-year, grosses decreased by 6.65% ($36,698,946 vs. $39,314,834).

The average ticket price of $125.75 was $0.74 lower than last week and $5.95 lower than the same week last year ($131.70).

  • HAMILTON: $2,157,909 vs. $1,939,699 (+11.2% change)
  • HADESTOWN: $790,185 vs. $746,393 (+5.9% change)
