Is there drama between former collaborators MGK and Yungblud? Fans sure think so.
MGK released his song “Fix Ur Face” in April 2026, leading to some major fan speculation that the rapper was taking shots at Yungblud with one particular line.
“Mickey Mouse kids turned rockstars,” MGK sings, “Leaving private schools, tryna be outlaws.”
Prior to his singing career, Yungblud appeared on The Lodge, a 2016 British TV show that aired on Disney Channel in the U.K. He also briefly attended Ackworth School, a private day and boarding school in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, England.
When Yungblud appeared on “The Osbournes” podcast in August 2024, MGK’s name came up.
“Don’t get me started on that one,” Sharon Osbourne said at the time. Yungblud responded, “Fair.”
Fans on social media speculated that Yungblud’s interview was the catalyst for their feud.
“MGK literally posted in [sic] Twitter right after this podcast and was like wtf!? So yes he was clearly upset dom didn’t defend him,” one X user speculated in April 2026. “I’m a yungblud huge fan for over 8 years now. But dude it’s literally right there in the video. Don’t be blind.”
MGK seemingly confirmed what the song lyric was about during a May 2026 podcast appearance.

Were MGK and Yungblud Friends?
The musical duo met and collaborated on the song “I Think I’m OKAY” in 2019, which was released on MGK’s Hotel Diablo record that same year.
“He walked into my house without knocking on the door,” MGK later recalled of the first time they met.
By 2020, MGK and Yungblud had two other collaborations under their belt — ”Body Bag” — released on the deluxe edition of MGK’s Tickets to My Downfall record and “Acting Like That,” from Yungblud’s Weird! album.

Are MGK and Yungblud Feuding?
Fans started to speculate that there was drama between the two musicians as they were no longer seen working together. Social media users were under the impression that MGK confirmed there was beef when his April 2026 song, “Fix Ur Face,” appeared to take aim at Yungblud.
“I see one particular line is going over your heads,” MGK shared via X after the song was released, seemingly adding fuel to the fire.
How the Osbourne Family Got Caught in the Mix
Social media users appear to think that Yungblud’s August 2024 appearance on “The Osbournes” podcast started the drama. Kelly Osbourne appeared to claim that MGK stole the color pink from Yungblud for the 2022 Mainstream Sellout record.
MGK Speaks on His ‘Fix Ur Face’ Lyric
During a May 2026 appearance on the “Garza” podcast, MGK addressed speculation surrounding lyrics from his “Fix Ur Face” song, seemingly confirming the lines were written about his and Yungblud’s falling out.
“The song is three minutes of lines about different things,” MGK said. “Yeah, the specific line, I mean, loyalty is really the only thing that matters. When I open my heart, that means I’m vulnerable, and I let you in.”
He continued, “When someone’s given an opportunity to defend their friend, and they don’t, that breaks my heart. It shatters me. Be my friend the same way in public that you are in private. But it’s an angry line in an angry song.”
MGK explained that he’s not one to “describe art,” leaving it up to the listener to interpret the meaning.
“But that s*** hurt me, and that is that,” he continued before offering Yungblud a compliment. “[He’s] super talented and all that. But what I care about outside of everything, like, when the music’s over, it’s like, what do you stand for and what do you stand on?”
MGK added, “That principle of loyalty, the way that it was done to me, I wouldn’t have done that. … To me, that was just a moment of seeing something and being like, damn, that hurts.”
