The Night Agent returns for a third season with FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) hunting to solve a new mystery. For a year, Peter has been waiting for a call from rogue intelligence broker Jacob Monroe (Louis Herthum) so he can take down his organization from the inside. However, Peter has more pressing matters after the United States is struck by a terrorist attack.
A low-level analyst, Jay Batra (Suraj Sharma), may unwittingly hold the key to this new conspiracy. Once Peter tracks down Jay, he realizes that Batra is even more important than he realized. If he trades Jay to his enemy, Peter may get the answers he’s looking for. But would Peter ever be able to live with himself if he took that deal?
