4th of July fireworks 2026: Where to watch in Southern California, Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES () — As the U.S. celebrates its 250th birthday this year, cities across Southern California are gearing up for Fourth of July celebrations.

Here’s a list of fireworks shows happening in Southern California this weekend.

Los Angeles County fireworks

Alhambra fireworks

Saturday, July 4
800 S. Almansor St
Gates open at 4 p.m.
Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

Baldwin Park fireworks

Friday, July 3
Sierra Vista High School
3600 Frazier St.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Enjoy a live concert at 6:45 p.m., along with family-friendly activities including carnival rides, face painting and food vendors. A synchronized fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m.

Catalina Island fireworks

Friday, July 3 — Two Harbors
Festivities kickoff with a 40th annual Children’s festival at Buffalo Park from 10 a.m. to noon, a patriotic Dinghy Parade at 2 p.m. and a fireworks show over Isthmus Cove starting around 9 p.m.
Saturday, July 4 — Avalon
Start the day with a mermaid meet and greet on Middle Beach at 9 a.m., followed by a home and business decorating contest, a golf cart parade, live music and more. End the night with a fireworks show over Avalon Bay around 9 p.m.

Cerritos celebration and fireworks

Saturday, July 4
Cerritos Civic Center
18125 Bloomfield Ave.
Event begins at 4 p.m.
The 53rd annual “Let Freedom Ring Celebration” will feature food trucks, game booths, rides and a fireworks show at 9 p.m. All-day ride wristbands are available for $45 through July 2 at the Recreation Services Division counter at Cerritos City Hall. Individual tickets are $2, 20 tickets are $35, and 50 tickets are $60.

Claremont celebration and fireworks

Saturday, July 4
Memorial Park
840 N. Indian Hill Blvd.
Activities begin at 7 a.m.
Enjoy a day packed with festivities, including a 1K Kids Fun Run, 5K Race, flag raising ceremony, live entertainment and more. Head over to Pomona College Strehle Track (522 N. Mills Ave.) for a concert and fireworks show at 9 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or at the Alexander Hughes Community Center.

Commerce celebration and fireworks

July 3–4
Civic Center/Rosewood Park
5600 Harbor St.
Noon to 10 p.m.
This two-day carnival will feature rides, games, food trucks and live music. Rides are free for Commerce residents with a current Resident Activity Card and two-day wristbands are $20 for non-residents, available for purchase on the day of the event. A fireworks show will take place on Friday, July 3 at 9 p.m., followed by a laser light show on Saturday, July 4 at 9 p.m.

Saturday, July 4
A fireworks show will be on full display on Fireworks Hill, located behind the Hillcrest Center of the Arts in Thousand Oaks, starting at 9 p.m.

Sunday, July 5
Town Plaza, 9300 Culver Blvd.
6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Instead of fireworks, there will be an aerial drone light show at 9 p.m.

Dodger Stadium fireworks

Saturday, July 4
Dodgers vs. San Diego Padres
1000 Vin Scully Ave.
Game starts at 7:10 p.m.
Enjoy a pregame stage show at 4:20 p.m. in the Centerfield Plaza with live music and entertainment, with a fireworks show following the game. A special ticket package will include a Fourth of July picnic blanket; regular tickets include an A250 Commemorative Coin.

El Segundo celebration and fireworks

Saturday, July 4
Stevenson Field, Holly Avenue and Eucalyptus Drive
10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Daytime events will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., including games, races and contests. Evening events will take place at 5 p.m., featuring live music and food booths. The fireworks show will start at 9 p.m.
El Segundo residents can get a maximum of four free wristbands per adult with a valid Rec ID Card. Nonresidents can purchase event wristbands for $5.

Friday, July 3 — 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday, July 4 — 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Enjoy a three-day food festival featuring over 250 vendors, live music and games, with a synchronized drone show happening July 4. General admission tickets are $12 and can be purchased online.

Hollywood Bowl July Fourth Fireworks Spectacular with The Beach Boys

July 2–4, 7:30 p.m.
2301 N. Highland Ave.
Sing along to Beach Boys classics at this commemorative concert at the Hollywood Bowl, featuring the Beach Boys and special guest John Stamos. Stay until the end for a special fireworks show.

L.A. Coliseum America 250 concert and fireworks

Saturday, July 4
3911 S. Figueroa St.
6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
America250 is organizing a benefit show at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, hosted by Queen Latifah and featuring live performances at 6:30 p.m. Following the performances, a fireworks and drone show will begin at 9:15 p.m. Tickets are $17.76, available for purchase online.

Burton Chace Park Fisherman’s Village, 13650 Mindanao Way
View the 20-minute fireworks show from anywhere in Marina del Rey, Venice Pier, Playa Vista and Dockweiler Beach, starting at 9 p.m. Music will also be synchronized to the show at Burton Chace Park and Fisherman’s Village.
Admission is free, but parking lot prices range from $11 – $20.

6:30 p.m.
Enjoy a live concert featuring the 300th Army Band and The Dreamboats, followed by a fireworks show. Tickets are $7, available for purchase online.

Festivities kick off with a parade at 9:30 a.m., starting at Frederick Street and Alessandro Boulevard. Family Fun Fest gates open at 3 p.m. and close at 8:30 p.m., featuring a beer garden, food vendors, a children’s zone, live bands and an aerial fireworks show at 9 p.m.
Amphitheater seating is first-come first served. Tickets are $3 pre-sale at the Conference and Recreation Center through July 3 or $4 on the day of the event. Children 5 and under are free.
