RIALTO, Calif. () — Two people were killed when a minivan slammed into the back of a semi-truck on the 210 Freeway in Rialto overnight.
The incident happened shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday on eastbound lanes near Riverside Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics rushed the driver of the van and a passenger to the hospital in unknown condition. Two other passengers died at the scene.
Investigators say one of those survivors was taken into custody for possible DUI.
