In recent years, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving has become known as Travel Tuesday, an entire day dedicated just to the best travel bargains when globetrotters get to score big on travel deals and discounts.
Travel Tuesday was born in 2017 when flight-booking app Hopper noticed a pattern of more trips being planned on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving compared to an average day — the vacation industry’s response to Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
