DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES () — Rams fans are set to hold a boisterous rally at L.A. Live on Friday as the team prepares for this weekend’s NFC divisional round game against the Chicago Bears.
The gathering in downtown Los Angeles, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., will mark the second of three such rallies before the Rams take on Chicago at Soldier Field.
Saturday’s rally is scheduled to be held at the Original Farmers Market’s clock tower in the Fairfax District from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be giveaways and photo opportunities with the Rams cheerleaders and the mascot Rampage, and fans can record their dance moves for a chance to win prizes.
A sweepstakes for Rams game tickets will also be held at the rallies.
“All the games have been very close, very exciting,” Rams fan Vince Kerns said in an interview at the first of the three rallies. “And I look forward to more of it.”
The Bears are set to host the Rams on Sunday in a divisional playoff game that matches teams with high-powered offenses and flairs for the dramatic.
The Bears went from worst to first in the NFC North in coach Ben Johnson’s first season. They then rallied from 18 points down to beat Green Bay in the wild-card round for their first playoff win since the 2010 season.
The Rams needed Matthew Stafford to lead one of his vintage comebacks to beat Carolina last week. The All-Pro threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Colby Parkinson with 38 seconds left to lift the Rams to a 34-31 win.
