Miami boat fire: Emergency crews rescue tourists from boat on fire off Miami Beach, Florida coast

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — A group of tourists from Nebraska were on a 40-foot boat off of Miami Beach, Florida, when it caught fire.

A local photographer captured video of thick black smoke pouring from the boat on Thursday.

The boat owner said he tried to put out the fire, with no luck.

So, they caught the attention of the crew of a nearby boat and escaped safely.
