LOS ANGELES () — While a big part of the country grapples with a massive winter storm, Southern California will see considerably calmer weather to start the week.
On Monday, expect cooler temperatures and afternoon sunshine. Temperatures warm up a few degrees toward the end of the week.
Los Angeles and Orange counties Monday can expect a high of 72 and a low of 46.
Valleys and Inland Empire Monday can expect a high of 71 and a low of 43. Similar weather is on tap Tuesday.
Beaches will see morning fog and afternoon sunshine. The high will be in the upper 60s and the low will be in the upper 40s.
Mountain communities will have to deal with cold overnight lows for the next several days. On Monday, the high will reach 49 and the low will be around 22 degrees.
Deserts Monday will be in the upper 50s and Palm Springs will be about 70 degrees.
