LIVE: LAPD chasing burglary suspects

LOS ANGELES () — A group of burglary suspects led police on an erratic chase across the greater Los Angeles area Wednesday morning.

Officers were initially chasing a U-Haul before the suspects got out and abandoned the vehicle near Randy’s Donuts on Manchester Boulevard.

At least one suspect then jumped into a dark sedan that continued to evade police in the LAX area, reaching high speeds on surface streets and the 405 Freeway.

During the chase, two suspects jumped out of the car in different areas, but the driver kept going.

The suspect eventually made its way to the South L.A. area, making dangerous turns with its headlights turned off and nearly hitting early morning drivers.
