Hevia Baillères is part of the fourth generation of the family that leads the influential Grupo BAL, a conglomerate that has played a key role in the country’s business history. According to financial estimates reported by outlets such as El Siglo de Torreón, the heir is connected to a family fortune estimated at between $6.65 billion and $10.48 billion, calculated as of August 2025.
These figures reflect not only the weight of his lineage but also a carefully diversified capital structure. Companies within the portfolio include Industrias Peñoles in the mining sector, GNP Seguros in insurance, and the luxury department store chain El Palacio de Hierro in premium retail.
However, Gonzalo Hevia Baillères’ fortune does not come solely from family legacy, but also from forging his own path as an entrepreneur. The Mexican businessman is the founder and CEO of Lok, a startup launched in 2021 focused on mobility and logistics, operating smart lockers designed to facilitate the delivery, pickup and return of online purchases.

What’s Known About His Apparent Romance With Emma Watson
Since early Wednesday, both the Paris-born actress and the young Mexican businessman have been trending worldwide after being seen together on several occasions. Watson is widely known for portraying Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter saga.
According to a report first published by Quién magazine, which included photos, the alleged romance “has accumulated enough public appearances to spark interest.” The first meeting reportedly took place in late 2025 in Courchevel, in the French Alps.
They were later seen in Punta Mita, on the coast of Nayarit, Mexico, and more recently at different locations around Mexico City, including a tender kiss captured in images that have since gone viral.
In addition to his appearances with Emma Watson, Gonzalo Hevia Baillères has also trended because of his rumored past relationship with singer Belinda, although neither confirmed it publicly.
